Our CCX Sports Spotlight this week shines on Maple Grove standout diver Ellis Landry.
Jay Wilcox profiles the Crimson senior, who placed fourth at the state meet last season.
Landry just took up diving as a freshman after years as a club gymnast, and has proven to be a quick study.
Though she’s had a lot of interest, Landry is leaning toward concentrating on academics and not diving in college, although she says if the right situation developed she would consider it.
She’s an excellent student and is going through the college application process now.
