CCX Sports Spotlight: Daniel McCollor
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight John Jacobson profiles Wayzata Nordic skier Daniel McCollor.
The junior finished fourth in the state last year and is one of the state’s best again this season.
His two older sisters, Mara and Lauren, also skied at Wayzata and both now compete in college.
Daniel McCollor finished 16th at the state cross country meet last fall for a Trojans’ team that won state.
The Trojans will compete in both the Lake Conference and Section Six meets over the next 10 days.
The state Nordic meet is scheduled for February 15th and 16th at Giants Ridge in Biwabik.
