Brooklyn Center Boys Basketball Qualifies for State Tournament - CCX Media

For the first time in 35 years the Brooklyn Center boys basketball team has qualified for the state tournament. The Centaurs upset top-seeded Minneapolis North to win the Section 5AA championship Friday at St. Cloud State University.

Lu’Cye Patterson scored 24 points in the win. Brooklyn Center, the number two seed for the state tournament, meets Breckenridge in the state class AA quarterfinals Wednesday at 6:00 pm at Williams Arena.
