Brooklyn Center Boys Basketball Loses Season Opener
The Brooklyn Center boys basketball team lost its season opener Monday night, falling 85-76 to Twin Cities Academy/Great River.
Quay Douglas scored 37 points and Christopher Taylor 20 points to lead the Centaurs in scoring.
Brooklyn Center trailed by ten points at halftime but rallied to briefly lead 12 minutes into the second half before the Tigers outscored the Centaurs 18-8 to close out the game.
Brooklyn Center plays its next game Friday night at Cristo Rey Jesuit.
