Brooklyn Center Boys Basketball Falls to St. Anthony
They put on a spirited comeback, but the Brooklyn Center boys basketball team fell to St. Anthony 75-65 Monday night.
After a good start by B.C., St. Anthony built a twelve point halftime lead.
Their lead grew to 20 midway through the second half, and it looked like the game might be over.
Brooklyn Center picked up the defensive pressure and fought back to within four points, but couldn’t complete the comeback.
Quay Douglas scored 25 of his 32 points in the second half to lead the Centaurs’ comeback.
Ben Weyhee scored 19 for Brooklyn Center.
Luke Omodt had 21, Gani Stevens 18, and Caydin Hauser 16 for the Huskies.
Brooklyn Center fell to 0-11 with the loss. St. Anthony is 5-7.
