Brooklyn Center Boys Basketball Falls to Fridley
The Brooklyn Center boys basketball team rallied but fell short in a 70-55 loss to Fridley.
The centaurs trailed by 14 points at halftime, and Fridley’s lead grew to 20-plus points.
Brooklyn Center battled back, and back-to-back baskets by Antoine Jones and Quyavant Douglas brought them within nine at 61-52.
Fridley stopped the run though and held off the Centaurs for the win.
Douglas poured in 31 points to lead Brooklyn Center.
Gideon Cooper had 16 points with Devin Williams and Bashir Ahmed each scoring 13 for Fridley.
