Brooklyn Center Boys Basketball Falls in Season Opener
The Brooklyn Center boys basketball team rallied from a 20-point deficit to pull within seven late in the game but their rally fell short in a 69-60 loss to St. Paul Como Park.
After Brooklyn Center had an early lead, the Cougars surged to build a 44-28 halftime lead.
They pushed the margin to 20 midway through the second half, but Como’s offense went cold and the Centaurs stormed back into it.
Aloysius Vah had 13 points to lead the Centaurs. Jahari Hill had 15 to lead the Cougars.
It was the season opener for both teams.
