Brooklyn Center Boys Basketball Advances to Section Final
The Brooklyn Center boys basketball team advanced to the Section 5AA final after beating Rockford 82-69 in the semifinals Wednesday night. The Centaurs built a seven point lead in the first half and kept their scoring pace in the second half to pull away from the Rockets. Lu’Cye Patterson scored 30 points in the win for Brooklyn Center. They now face Minneapolis North for the section title Friday at 8:00 p.m. at St. Cloud State University.
