Breker, Drevlow Win Titles at Bauman/Rovn Invitational
Armstrong’s Noah Breker broke the 15-minute barrier Friday with a win the Bauman/Rovn Invitational cross country meet.
Breker, a senior, ran a 14:57 5K race to win by 21 seconds over Sam Scott from meet team champion Minneapolis Southwest.
Armstrong’s Alex Omodt finished fourth, just ahead of Landon Hering of Hopkins.
The Falcons finished third as a team with the Royals placing sixth.
In the girls’ meet, Hopkins sophomore Sydney Drevlow won the meet by a whopping 45 seconds.
Chanhassen’s Marissa Long was runner-up with Drevlow’s teammate Daphne Grobstein finishing fourth.
Caitlyn Osanai was Armstrong’s top runner, placing eighth.
Marshall was the girls’ team champion with Hopkins second and Armstrong seventh.
