Breck Honors Former Athletes, Teams
Breck School honored three former athletes, one coach/athletic director and two teams Thursday as part of the school’s Alumni Awards ceremony.
Recognized were the 2003 unbeaten state championship football team, the 2002-03 state runner-up girls basketball team, hockey player John Curry (2002), football player Nick Vanderboom (2002), soccer and basketball player Alyssa Nelson (2003), and coach/athletic director John Thiel, who left the school in 2008.
Former athletes and teams are eligible for the Breck Hall of Fame 20 years after they graduate.
