Breck Girls Tennis Team Off to Strong Start
A deep and versatile Breck girls tennis team is off to a strong start in the 2020 season.
The Mustangs have defeated strong Lake Conference teams Eden Prairie and Wayzata to open the season.
They added a win over Mounds Park Academy in their IMAC conference opener Thursday.
Many of the Breck girls hadn’t seen each other March because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They are also in a hybrid model for school, so tennis practice and matches are often the only time they are together.
The season is providing a nice respite from thinking about that situation.
Winning a lot of matches along the way can only help for the Mustangs.
