Breck Girls Lacrosse Races Past Hopkins in Section Play
The Breck girls lacrosse team dominated the second half on the way to a 13-4 win over Hopkins in the Section 5 quarterfinals.
Hopkins slowed the pace in the first half and the Royals were within 3-2 at the half.
Breck’s offense really clicked in the second half as they scored ten times to pull away.
Elinor Applebaum, Erin Duggan, and Emily Johnson each scored three times for Breck.
The Mustangs advance to Monday’s semifinals where they will likely face top seed Benilde-St. Margaret’s.
