Breck Girls Hockey Wins Section 5A Title, Back to State for First Time Since 2020
The Breck girls hockey team is headed back to the state tournament for the first time in six years.
The Mustangs shut out Westonka/SW Christian 3-0 in the Section 5A final to punch their ticket to the Class A state tournament.
Breck scored one goal in all three periods with Alexis Ulrich scoring in the first, Taylor Hall netting her goal in the second, and Mackenna Schlieman putting the game away in the third.
Breck will enter the state tournament next week ranked first in the state in Class A and the Mustangs have a 25-1-1 record.
