Breck Girls Hockey Team Looks to Build on Big Win
The Breck girls hockey team is eager to build on Saturday’s big win.
The Mustangs handed Andover its first loss, rallying to beat the Huskies 5-4.
The game matched the top ranked team in Class A, Breck, against the number one team in Class AA.
Breck is the defending state champion in Class A.
They are 13-4 this season, with all four of the losses coming against high-quality AA teams.
The Mustangs next big test is against arch-rival Blake next Tuesday.
Despite all of the success they’ve had in the program, the current Breck seniors have never defeated the Bears.
Blake won the first game against Breck this season 5-4 in mid-December.
