Breck Girls Hockey Advances to Section Final
After a slow start the Breck girls hockey team overpowered Minneapolis for a 9-1 win to advance to the Section 5A final.
The Mustangs and Novas were tied 1-1 after one period before Breck erupted for five goals in the second period.
Ava Lindsay, Sadie Lindsay, and Olivia Mobley each scored two goals for Breck.
Breck is ranked number one in Class A and they are the defending state champions.
Breck face Orono in the Section 5A final Wednesday.
