Breck Edges Wayzata in Girls Tennis
In a matchup of two of the top girls tennis teams in the northwest suburbs, Breck pulled out a 4-3 victory over Wayzata Tuesday.
It’s the second straight win over a Lake Conference team to start the season for class A power Breck.
They defeated Eden Prairie 7-0 in the season opener.
Wayzata falls to 1-1 after Delano in their season opener.
Breck had a strong showing in doubles to key the win over Wayzata, winning first and second doubles.
Wayzata will look to bounce back Wednesday afternoon when they face Hopkins in their first Lake Conference match.
