Breck Edges Maple Grove 4-3 in Girls Tennis
The Breck girls tennis team edged Maple Grove 4-3 Wednesday in a match-up of two of the best local teams.
The Mustangs won team points at second singles (Aditi Nadkarni), third singles (Ava Warford), fourth singles (Margot Gagerman) and first doubles (Petra Lyon and Mehbod Witt).
Zoe Adkins, the top-ranked singles player in the state, won at first singles for Maple Grove in straight sets. The Crimson also won team points at second doubles (Gabi Parker and Bethany Smith) and third doubles (Sarah McGraw and Avery Spratt).
Breck plays at rival Blake Friday afternoon while Maple Grove hosts Champlin Park.
