Breck Boys Soccer beats Heritage Christian Academy in 6A Quarterfinal
The Breck boys soccer team opened up the postseason with a 6-1 win over Heritage Christian Academy in the Section 6A quarterfinal round.
The Mustangs scored four goals in the first half from four different players. Jude Meli, Asher Leventhal, Duncan Armour, and Kiran Mahta all netted goals for Breck.
Eagles’ goalkeeper Griffin Booms had some great saves, but Breck scored two more goals in the second half, both from Elan Choudry, and the Mustangs advanced on to the 6A semifinals.
Breck hosts Holy Family in the semifinals Thursday at 4:00 pm.
