Breck Boys Hockey Uses Big Second Period to Beat St. Paul Academy
The Breck boys hockey team scored all five of their goals in the second period on Tuesday night vs. St. Paul Academy on their way to a 5-4 win over the Spartans.
Garrett Trench got the scoring started for the Mustangs with a powerplay goal thirty seconds into the second period.
Ben Amato then had back-to-back goals from the slot to put Breck in front.
Paddy Greene scored an even-strength goal at the eleven-minute mark and then assisted on a goal to Trench.
The Spartans scored the final two goals of the game to pull within one, but Breck held on to get the win and advance to 7-5-1 on the season.
