Breck Boys Hockey Edges Armstrong-Cooper in OT
The Breck boys hockey team edged Armstrong-Cooper 5-4 in overtime Saturday.
It was a back and forth game throughout.
Each team scored once in the first period, with Armstrong-Cooper netting two in the second to lead 3-2.
Breck scored twice in the third period to take a 4-3 before the Wings tied it up again.
In overtime Nick Mikan scored the game winner for the Mustangs on a rush up the left side.
The game had added importance because Armstrong-Cooper is now in Section 2A with Breck.
