Breck Boys Basketball Returns to State Tournament
The Breck boys basketball team built a 16-point halftime lead and cruised to a 92-63 win over Minneapolis North in the Section 5AA final to return to the state tournament.
Breck won its first state title last season in program history.
Miles Newton scored 24 points and JP Musoke 22 to lead the win over North.
Breck is the number three seed for the state class AA tournament and they will face Montevideo in the quarterfinals Tuesday night at Target Center.
