Breck Boys Basketball Holds Off Minneapolis Southwest
The Breck boys basketball team got off to a slow start before building a double figure lead on the way to a 64-59 win over Minneapolis Southwest Wednesday.
The Mustangs had to hold off a Lakers rally, as Southwest got as close as three points after trailing by 13.
Miles Newton had 19 points in the first half and 32 total to lead Breck to the win.
Defending state class AA champion Breck is now 12-9 this season.
