Breakdown Summer Tournament Features Top Basketball Talent
Wayzata and Maple Grove were among the girls basketball teams featured Sunday at the Breakdown Sports “Summer State Tourney” in Maple Grove. The one-day event brought together many of the state’s top talent and teams in all four classes of girls basketball. Wayzata went undefeated (3-0) and beat St. Michael-Albertville in the Class 4A tournament final. Many of the state’s top returning players and teams were featured in the tournament. Maple Grove Middle School was the site for the event.
