Boxer Caleb Truax Withdraws from Fight
Osseo pro boxer Caleb Truax has to withdraw from his scheduled rematch with Peter Quillin.
Truax has an achilles tendon injury to his right leg that hasn’t healed sufficiently.
Truax and Quillin were scheduled to meet at the Minneapolis Armory August 31st.
In their previous meeting in April, Truax suffered a bad cut above his right eye after an accidental clash of heads.
The fight was stopped because of the cut and the bout was a no decision.
Truax is the former IBF super middleweight champion.
