Blake Blanks BSM 1-0 to Win 5AA Boys Soccer Title

Joseph Melloh’s header goal midway through the second half gave the Blake boys soccer team the only goal they would need as the Bears shut out Benilde-St. Margaret’s 1-0 in the Section 5AA boys soccer final.

Blake (16-2-1) will find out Saturday their quarterfinal round opponent for the state tournament. The Bears are ranked second in the state in Class AA.

The Red Knights finished their season with a record of 10-7-2.
