Big Second Half Propels Wayzata Boys Basketball to Win over St. Michael-Albertville
The Wayzata boys basketball team outscored St. Michael-Albertville 40-16 in the second half on their way to their fifth Lake Conference win this season.
The Trojans doubled their seven-point halftime lead in the first five minutes of the second half, a stretch that was part of a 32-10 run for Wayzata.
The Trojans were led in scoring by Nolen Anderson, who poured in 23 points, but Wayzata was balanced offensively with four other players scoring eight or more points.
Ryan Mann (11p), Wyatt McBeth (11p), Christian Wiggins (9p), and Isaac Olmstead (8p) all contributed.
The Trojans have now won 14 games in a row and are 15-2 on the year.
