Big Second Half Leads Wayzata Boys Basketball Past Maple Grove
The Wayzata boys basketball team outscored Maple Grove by 22 points in the second half and ran past the Crimson for a 90-63 win.
At halftime, the Trojans only led by five, but Christian Wiggins (29 points), Nolen Anderson (16), and Isaac Olmstead (11) all scored in double figures and got Wayzata going in the second half.
Maple Grove was led in scoring by Keegan Harney who scored 18 points.
Baboucarr Ann added 14 points and Henry Knutson chipped in 11 for MG.
The Trojans are now 2-2 on the season, while the Crimson drop to 0-2.
