Big Second Half Carries Maranatha Christian Academy Boys Basketball Over St. Agnes
The Maranatha Christian Academy boys basketball team got a big Skyline Conference win over St. Agnes by a score of 73-55 on Monday night.
The Mustangs were down by two at the end of the first half, but put up 47 points in the second half to earn an 18-point win.
MCA was led in scoring by Gresyn Rennie and Drew Balentine who each posted 20 points. DaTrell McCrimmon also added 16 points.
With the win, Maranatha moves into a three-way tie for first place in the Skyline Conference. The Mustangs along with St. Agnes and St. Croix Lutheran are all 7-1 in conference play. MCA has won six games in a row and is now 10-3 overall.
