Benilde-St. Margaret’s, Orono Tie 1-1 in Girls Hockey
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s and Orono girls hockey teams skated to a 1-1 tie Thursday in a match-up of ranked teams.
The Red Knights (11-2-1) are ranked fourth in Class AA while the Spartans (12-4-1) are the top-ranked team in Class A.
Addie Morris scored for the Red Knights early in the first period while Kali Schmidt tallied the lone goal for the Spartans in the third period.
B-SM goalie Elie Hancock finished the game with 30 saves while Orono goalie Viv Anderson stopped 36.
