Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Soccer Shuts Out Mankato East 3-0 In State Quarterfinal
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls soccer team advanced to the state Class AA semifinals with a 3-0 win over Mankato East in the quarterfinal round at Farmington High School.
The Red Knights scored quick in the 4th minute with an unassisted goal from Siena Carter.
After halftime, BSM scored two more goals in the second half, one from Lauren Hillins and the other from Hannah Buller.
Olivia Olson and the Red Knights defense held Mankato East scoreless for the team’s 12th shutout of the season.
The Red Knights play Winona in the Class AA semifinals at U.S. Bank Stadium on Tuesday, October 31st at 2:30 PM.
