Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Soccer Advances to State Tournament
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls soccer team scored two goals in the first half and tacked on four more in the second on the way to a 6-1 win over Orono in the Section 5AA championship game.
Kiya Gilliand had two goals and an assist for BSM, with Lauren Hillins adding a goal and two assists.
The Red Knights are headed to the state tournament for the 14th time; they placed second last season.
