Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Soccer Advances to State Semifinals
Siena Carver scored two goals to help the Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls’ soccer team to win their state Class AA quarterfinal round match Thursday.
The victory gives the Red Knights a berth into next week’s state semifinals at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Grace Horejsi scored once and added and assist for the Red Knights who improved to 14-4-2 after a 3-3-2 start to the season.
BSM, state runner-up in 2021, now plays Mahtomedi in the state semifinals Wednesday at 12:30 pm at US Bank Stadium.
