Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Soccer Advances to Class AA Championship
For the ninth time in program history, Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls soccer is playing in a state championship game. The Red Knights routed Winona 7-1 in the Class AA state semifinals at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Brooklyn Miller recorded a hat trick for B-SM, and Kiya Gilliand also added two goals.
Aida Parker and Sienna Carver were the other two goal scorers for Benilde-St. Margaret’s. 2021 was the last time BSM was in a state championship game, when the Red Knights lost to Mahtomedi.
Benilde-St. Margaret’s will face off against the top seed, Holy Angels, on Friday at 2:45 PM at U.S. Bank Stadium.
