Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Lacrosse Loses in State Semifinals
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls lacrosse team lost 11-8 to top-seeded Chanhassen in the semifinals of the state girls’ lacrosse tournament.
Julia Evens scored five goals for the Red Knights and Tilly Wolfe added two.
Gabby Bjugan netted five goals and one assist to lead the Storm in scoring. Leah Hodgins and Bella Detienne both scored twice.
B-SM (15-3) plays Rosemount for third place Saturday afternoon while Chanhassen faces Lakeville South in the championship game.
