Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Hockey Team Edged by Blake
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls hockey team was edged by Blake 1-0 Tuesday night.
Audrey Wethington scored the only goal of the game in the first period for the Bears.
Molly Haag stopped all 24 shots she faced to earn the shutout for Blake.
Carly Greene stopped 24 of 25 shots for BSM.
The Red Knights fell to 4-4 with the loss, but they’ve played some tough competition.
All four of their defeats are against top ten teams in class AA.
The Red Knights get another tough challenge Thursday when they play second-ranked Edina.
