Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Hockey falls to Edina in Section 6AA Final
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls hockey team saw their season come to an end in the Section 6AA final with a 5-4 loss to Edina.
The Red Knights and Hornets went back-and-forth for most of the game and the score was tied at 3 early in the 3rd period.
That’s when Edina scored two straight goals, which ended up being enough to hold off B-SM.
Whitney Horton led Edina in scoring with a hat trick and five total points.
Siena Carver scored two points for the Red Knights.
Benilde-St. Margaret’s finishes the season with a 21-4-2 record.
Edina advances to the Class AA state tournament for a tenth consecutive season.
