Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Hockey Falls to Andover
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls hockey team lost 4-1 to Andover Tuesday in a match-up of top ten teams.
Kaeli Koopman scored the lone goal for the Red Knights (1-1-0), tying the game 1-1 midway through the first period.
The Huskies (1-0-0), state runner-up in Class AA last season, then scored the final three goals for the win. University of St. Thomas commit Nora Sauer netted two goals and an assist for Andover.
BSM plays its home opener at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center Saturday afternoon against Moorhead.
