Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Hockey Blanks Minneapolis 2-0
Katie Zakrajscheck and Talla Hansen scored goals and Emma Matack posted a shutout in goal as the Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls hockey team shut out Minneapolis 2-0 Thursday.
Scoreless after one, the Red Knights scored on Zakrajscheck’s second goal of the season off a pass from Hansen.
In third period Zakrajscheck assisted on Hansen’s first goal of the season to cap the scoring.
Matack finished the night with 21 saves. Minneapolis goalie Bentley Burgoon had 35 saves.
B-S-M (2-0-0) hosts New Prague Saturday. Minneapolis is now 1-1-0 on the season.
