Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Basketball Shooting for State Four-Peat
For the fifth straight season the Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls basketball team is headed to the state tournament– and this week the Red Knights are shooting for their fourth straight state championship in Class AAA.
BSM beat top-seeded Orono on the road for a second straight season in the Section 6AAA final to earn their state tournament berth and the state tournament’s second seed behind 27-1 Stewartville.
With a mix of returning starters from 2025 and new rotation players, the Red Knights have won 23 games this season.
They open tournament play Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Maturi Pavilion against Rock Ridge.
