Benilde-St Margaret’s Girls Basketball Advances to Title Game
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls basketball team jumped out to a 15-2 lead to start the game and went on to beat Marshall 71-59 in the state class AAA semifinals Thursday afternoon.
Pressly Watkins made five three-pointers and had 21 points to lead the Red Knights, the three-time defending champs in class AAA.
They meet top seed Stewartville in the championship game Saturday.
