Benilde-St. Margaret’s Football Set for State Playoffs
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s football team is in the state playoffs for the first time since the 2016 Red Knights won the program’s only state title.
BSM rallied to beat rival Holy Angels 20-15 in the Section 5AAAA championship game Friday.
Benilde is just 5-6 entering the class AAAA tournament after a 2-6 regular season.
Three of their losses came against teams in the class AAAA tournament.
The Red Knights meet North Branch in the quarterfinals Thursday night at Monticello High School.
