Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Lacrosse Wins 2nd Straight Championship
For the second straight year the Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys lacrosse team won the state championship, beating Prior Lake 10-9 in overtime.
Mitch Dokman scored the winning goal for the Red Knights, netting just his fourth goal of the season.
BSM (19-0) is 36-1 over the past two seasons. This was the fourth straight season that the Red Knights and Lakers met for the state title.
Carsen Brandt led Benilde-St. Margaret’s with two goals and three assists. Sky Rold and Gus Bell added two goals apiece for the Red Knights.
Brandt, Cam Gelling, Caio Stephens, Sam Pikul, and Justin Dalum were named to the all-tournament team.
