Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Lacrosse Scores State Championship Win
Gus Bell scored the first three goals of the game to help lead the Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys lacrosse team to an 18-10 win over Lakeville North to win the state championship.
After Bell’s early hat trick, the Panthers scored once but BSM answered with two more goals to lead 5-1 after one quarter. Lakeville North never got closer than two goals the rest of the game.
The Red Knights (18-1) won their third state title in four years and sixth in program history.
The BSM girls took third place in their state tournament, beating Stillwater 15-13.
