Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Hockey Wins 6AA Quarterfinal
Ryan Baird and Drew Stewart scored two goals each to lead the Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys hockey team to a 7-1 win over Blake in the quarterfinal round of the Section 6AA boys hockey tournament.
Cam Kirschner added four assists for the Red Knights, who took the lead with first period goals by Baird and Stewart.
The Red Knights outshot the Bears 48-17.
BSM, seeded third in Section 6AA, improves its season record to 18-8-0 and now faces second-seeded Edina Saturday at 7:00 pm at Bloomington Ice Garden.
Wayzata meets Holy Angels in the other 6AA semifinal.
