Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Hockey Rallies to Beat Andover
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys hockey team scored three third period goals to rally for a 4-2 win over Andover on Monday night.
The game was the first of three for both teams in this week’s Dick’s Sporting Goods Holiday Classic.
The Huskies led 2-1 after two periods with the Red Knights’ lone goal coming from Bergan Kopischke in the second period.
B-SM tied the game early in the third on a powerplay goal by Keegan Davis and later got goals from Donovan Madsen and Tyler Kirschner.
The win broke a five-game winless streak for the Red Knights (3-4-1) who play Champlin Park and Maple Grove in the final two days of the tournament.
