Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Hockey Edges St. Louis Park
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys hockey team edged crosstown rival St. Louis Park 2-0 in the second round of the Premiere Holiday Classic in the Park tournament.
Ryan Baird scored just over a minute into the first period for the Red Knights, with Drew Stewart tacking on another late in the first.
That lead held up the rest of the way for Benilde.
Brennan Chapman saved all 23 shots he faced to earn the shutout for BSM.
The Red Knights improved to 5-4-0 with the win.
They meet Lakeville South Thursday night in the final round of the round-robin event.
