Benilde-St. Margaret’s Blanks Waconia to Win Conference
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls soccer team shut out Waconia 2-0 Thursday to clinch the Metro West Conference title.
Sydney Drees and Ava Wagener scored second half goals for the Red Knights (14-0-0) who are the top-ranked team in Class 2A.
Olivia Olson recorded seven saves in net.
B-SM finishes the season Saturday against Hill-Murray.
