Benilde-St. Margaret’s Beats Breck in Big Boys Basketball Matchup
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys basketball team improved to 3-0 with an impressive 74-51 win over Breck Tuesday.
Breck is the defending state champion in class AA, while Benilde just missed out on making the class AAA tournament last season.
The Red Knights surged in front and built a 35-20 halftime lead on Breck.
The Mustangs never really got back in it in the second half.
Jalen Wilson had 21 to lead the Red Knights with T.J. Stuttley adding 19.
DeAngelo Dungey led Breck with 14 points. Breck fell to 1-2 with the loss.
