Basketball Camp in Brooklyn Park Draws Kids to the Court
The Hard in the Paint Hoops camp in Brooklyn Park is drawing kids together.
The four-day free camp on the outdoor courts at Zanewood Rec Center has a wide variety of age ranges and ability levels.
Some are new to the sport, while others are looking for a chance to play in a summer that’s seen many leagues and camps limited by COVID-19.
It’s the fourth year for Hard in the Paint camps, and first in Brooklyn Park.
The players go through skills training, get a meal, and then divide into teams for game play.
