Aubut’s Hat Trick Leads Maple Grove Boys Hockey to Shutout Win over SLP/CR
The Maple Grove boys hockey team began their postseason with a 5-0 win over Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids in the Section 5AA quarterfinals.
Senior forward Brady Aubut’s three goal hat trick propelled the Crimson and senior goaltender Zach Price posted 18 saves in a shutout in between the pipes.
Henry Miller led Maple Grove with two assists on the night.
Cole Forrest and Gavin Kustermann also scored goals for the Crimson, who will now face Champlin Park in the Section 5AA semifinals on Saturday.
